Distributor Vacuum control unit
The box shows that it was built under contract for post vehicles.
It says prestolite corporation Contract 70-1-01530.  Part 2920-861-1948
I am 99.995% certain its a replacement unit for delco # D1316, 1116119 that only fits IHC 1961 Truck with BD-220, 240, and 264 6-cylinder engines as per my 1962 Delco Remy application Guide.
According to my 1963 Delco Remy Buyers Guide (Picture book) it states:
Diamond T 1958 (no model or engine size given)
IHC 1958-59, 1961 (no model or engine size given) (Application index does in fact list some of these vehicles for US GOV applications, so I'm guessing this is where the Post Office got their vehicles from during this time period)
When I go into my 1968 book Delco Car/Truck book it lists a D1370, 1938153 # to fit the same applications.  I have one of these in stock NOS, so I opened it for comparison-dead on match.
One happy customer said it should fit all International 220, 249 and 264 Cubic inch six cylider engines of the late 1950's and early 1960's
I bought them from a auto parts business that went out of business 12 years ago.
Part looks to be in perfect condition.  I have lots of them and can make you a better deal on larger quantities

We try out best to get accurate information about the parts we are selling but I cannot guarantee that it is totally accurate.
Some of the parts are so old that it is difficult to find information on them. It up to the buyer to research and determine if it the correct part for their vehicle.

Most of my parts are new parts and in excellent condition.
SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S.A.
On smaller items I ship USPS Postal service. On large and heavy items I sometimes ship via FedEx.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Parts are sold both Domestic and internationally and welcome shipments outside the USA.  The parts are setup to go thru Ebay Global shipping.
RETURNS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and so you can return items if you are not satisfied for any reason but they must be returned within 30 days from the day you bought it. I will refund you total purchase price but will not refund any shipping charges either direction.  The item must be returned in unused and in good condition just like you received it.

There are times that I reuse a picture when I have several of the same item but I do not play picture games or try to hide or mislead anyone so you should get an item as good or better than the picture shows. BUSINESS HISTORY AND INFORMATION:
Maddog Auto Parts business started in year 2000 when half of Gowen Auto Parts inventory was bought.  Since then additional parts have been purchased from closed stores, swap meets and people who want to sell a large amount of parts.  Ebay is the primary place parts are sold under store name of RareAutoParts.  In the year 2018 the business was named Mad Dog Classic Auto Parts, LLC.  Future plans are to also have a professional web page.  Inventory consists of thousands and thousands NOS and NORS parts from 1920's thru 2000 with the a large amount being from 1930's thru 1950's but many are before and after that.
Honesty and providing good customer service is important to me. If you are not happy with something you purchase then let me know and we will work something out.
